My tribute to Sathya Sai Baba ...

Shri Bhagwan Sathya Sai Baba, who was battling for life at hospital in Puttaparithi has left millions of devotees in sorrow on 24th April,2011.

Many contradictory statements are being passed about his death as the famous prophecy as proclaimed by Baba that he would live on till the age of 96. The death of Baba at the age of 86  years appears to have proven that wrong. His devotees, however, are angered by this question and say that Baba had made it clear that he could leave his body if he felt like and he has done only that.

Millions of devotees of various faiths from all over the world visit the place every day, where Satya Sai Baba guides, comforts, consoles and uplifts them.

Whether he was god or not? Was he really a spiritual leader or not? His deeds are good or bad?

Beside these, Baba runs many charitable organisations including hospitals, service projects, and educational institutions in 166 countries. The Sathya Sai hospital offers free treatment to poor patients. He has taken up a drinking water project, which supplies water to people living in about 800 villages in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. The Sathya Sai Ganga Canal supplies water to Chennai too.

For all we know that the person in the context is no more. Irrespective of what he was, what he has done to the society is actually what we have to count up on. When we question ourselves “ how many of us are performing the duties towards the nation/ helping the poor? How many of us have hearts to give a portion of our money? We could hear "YES"  from very few.

I respect Sathya Sai Baba for giving his life, selflessly and magnanimously, to the service of mankind.

I am not sure of who will be the real Prema Sai Baba, who has been predicted to be the next incarnation. My only concern is that the Board of Trustees shall bring a prudent legislation and administer more than Rs.40,000 crores of assets contributed by devotees around the world and prevent the Tust Funds getting into wrong hands.

I hope the love and peace spread by Bhagwan won’t bring any discrepancies in the people, it will keep them in right path, and the Sai Trust will take care of the welfare activities as per the messages of Baba.

My message to all the devotees is that "The Best Tribute we can pay to our Bhagawan is to follow his preachings and maintain the love, peace and mutual respect”

He is one of the great human beings.Being a resident of Anantapur, I thank you Bhagwan for helping us, in providing water, when no government could help us. We never forget your services.
My Deep condolences to all the devotees of Satya Sai Baba.

May the almighty Lord rest his Soul in Eternal Peace.

If there is righteousness in the heart, there will be beauty in the character.
If there is beauty in the character, there will be harmony in the home.
If there is harmony in the home, there will be order in the nation.
When there is order in the nation, there will be peace in the world.

When Love...

Hi Everyone,

Every person in his/her life  fall in love at least once which they may express or may not. but every story  won't  have a happy ending. we all should remember that our journey to the life won't stop there.. It Actually Begins...

This post is dedicated to all of my friends who are in the experiencing the  warmth of love and who are enjoying the "Happy Single Status"

If you are in love with someone who does not love you, there is nothing wrong with you. Don’t become inferior and think that everything in life is lost forever.. No, that’s not the END!! It’s something to do with the destiny & fate.

Or

If you have someone who loves you and you don’t love him/her, don’t hate that person. Just feel blessed that the love has come in search of you and don’t cause pain to the other person

                                                    Or

If you both are in love with each other, but love decides to leave you, don’t get in to severe grief. Think everything happens for good and for a purpose. You will know that in future.

The simple fact is, you don't find love, and it finds you. It's got a little bit to do with destiny, fate, and what's written in the stars.

You can just feel the love when it is with you and let it go when it has to. We all must accept that when love comes or goes, there is nothing one can actually do or nothing one should do.

Life has got its own plans for yourself, it’s worth living every single moment and its foolishness to waste on the wrong one. Concentrate on what you have, instead of wishing for what you don't have.

Don’t waste time looking for the perfect lover, instead of creating the perfect love.
Cheers!!!
Bharathi.

Your Zodiac Sign may have Changed

I was checking for some stuff on Zodiac signs, I just came across this and I was really surprised to know that I am not a Libra any more… your zodiac sign may have changed.. Have a glimpse at this to know more:

There have been some changes to the field of astrology. A group of astronomers at the Minnesota Planetarium Society claim, "Because of this change of tilt, the Earth is really over here in effect and Sun is in a different constellation than it was 3,000 years ago."

A member of this group of astronomers, Parke Kunkle, explains, “When [astrologers] say that the sun is in Pisces, it’s really not in Pisces.”

What does this mean for people who believe what their Zodiac sign says about them? It changes the astrological sign you were born under, therefore rendering your horoscope incorrect.

There’s also a new thirteenth Zodiac sign! The serpent holding Ophiuchus has bumped his way between Scorpio and Sagittarius, which changes all the dates of the Zodiac signs. Better check yours to see how you’ve changed.

As Per the Minnesota Planetarium Society, Zodiac signs should be:

  • Capricorn: January 20 - February 16
  • Aquarius: February 16 - March 11
  • Pisces: March 11 - April 18
  • Aries: April 18 - May 13
  • Taurus: May 13 - June 21
  • Gemini: June 21 - July 20
  • Cancer: July 20 - August 10
  • Leo: August 10 - September 16
  • Virgo: September 16 - October 30
  • Libra: October 30 - November 23
  • Scorpio: November 23 - November 29
  • Ophiuchus: November 29 - December 17
  • Sagittarius: December 17 - January 20

Thanks to Shri. Anna Hazare

In the 60 years of its independence, India has seen a lot of corruption. The Indian economy was subject to extensive regulation, protectionism, and public ownership, leading to pervasive corruption and slow growth.

The Right to Information Act that came into force in 2006 has helped civilians work effectively towards tackling corruption.

In the period 2010-2011, India witnessed various scandals being blown apart by the media, civil society activists and government investigation agencies alike. Scams like 2G spectrum scam, Adarsh Housing Society Scam, Commonwealth games scam and many more brought about name of various central ministers, chief ministers and even members of the Armed Forces. This showed how deeply corruption entrenched has become in India.

All of us are hearing/reading in news channels and news papers about Shri. Anna Hazare , who has undertaken a "fast unto death" to demand stringent anti-corruption laws. I would like to thank him for standing up and fighting on behalf of citizens and putting pressure on the Government to re-draft LokPal bill.

The original idea behind the Jan Lokpal Bill is to have the independent body which would investigate cases of corruption within a year and ensure speedy trial within the next year. India Against Corruption has made it its prime objective to bring about the passing in parliament and subsequent effective enforcement of the Jan Lokpal Bill. It has also become the prime force to be organizing the protests in support of the bill.

Giving in to demands from anti-corruption activists, the government on Saturday issued a gazette notification on the formation of a joint committee headed by senior minister Pranab Mukherjee to draft an effective Lokpal Bill.

The notification, one of the key demands of the anti-corruption campaign launched by Gandhian Anna Hazare, has been signed by VK Bhasin, secretary, legislative department of the law ministry.

Apart from the terms of what the committee would do, the notification contains the names of those on the 10-member panel headed by finance minister.

In addition to the efforts made by Shri.Anna Hazare, and to show gratitude towards him, I call upon all the Indians to join hands and fight against the corruption, the change has to start from oneself. Law is to have control, but it is not everythg. Things won’t be changed unless there is a change in oneself.

Let’s say No to Bribery, don’t bribe anyone starting from traffic constable to any Sarkar employee or whomsoever it may be..

Be honest to urself and to people whom you meet, fight against illegal deeds & acts.

Don’t be scared of time taking processes and don’t encourage bribery in order to settle down things fast.

Pay your taxes in time, follow traffic rules and regulations.

This is our country; let’s not see it in top five corrupted countries…

Let’s do a bit from our side and it can change the face of India

Put your hands together, raise voices, fight for your rights, Fight against Corruption

A Month to the Day

Ya it’s a month to this day “ 7th “ Yep!! A month ago I have started a new journey in my career. Hmm that is my second job. Exactly last month 7th at this time I was really irritated, frustrated, bored, tired (I had fever, running nose & cough) was just feeling sick...

The reasons for my frustration cud be I was new to this working environment, I was down with fever; obviously I can’t expect them to involve me in a project. Right?? Without thinking these I started hating my office (too much to do it on first day: P).

Whtever, now I am 30 days old to this new office, now feeling little comfortable, it doesn’t mean I love it now. I hope I have proved myself and they understand my capabilities. Strange thing is still I don’t hv any fren here, at least to say hi and bye ..

But the only thing which I hate here is:

The people..:((((they r not at all friendly, they work as if they r in life sentence..

oh ppl get life, don’t waste ur time in chit chatting at least smile when required coz

Smile... makes u look beautiful.

Smile... coz everyday you try to be a better person.

Smile... because tomorrow is another day.
