Many times I felt weird about this issue; I feel it should be a serious concern for us.
Why do they block the traffic whenever a VIP or Politician passes through??”
I understand Security is important for them. But is it at the cost of common man convenience & time? Everyone are busy, every ones time is precious in their own way?
Why do they have to barricade the roads? Do they assume people are to be restrained?
My only question is “Why a politician or VIP should be kept away from the traffic?"
Have you ever seen a traffic cop making way for an Ambulance? NO... At least me, has never seen? So what is the priority here? Do you think is this right system?

Dear Cops,
Allow our so called leaders/VIPS etc to experience the traffic and the real world rather speaking nonsense sitting in AC rooms and traveling in AC cars.
They are also the part of Indian society, laws, rules and regulations apply to them and they should be imposed on them.Allow them to follow the traffic rules...

In fact each and every law that is applicable to the common man.
Dear Citizens,
Let’s not be the mere spectators, just cursing them (in fact like me who is venting anger through a blog). I feel we should protest and raise voice against these situations.
After all, we gave them power, not to destroy us but to take care of us. This in fact is not happening.
This is what I feel at this moment. I welcome your comments/ suggestions.

There are hell lot of things for which our dear netas to blamed.. they know they are the reason for all crap happening in this country still they are there and they will be until we start opposing them publicly.. nice post bharathi!! keep writing keep posting.. :)
ReplyDeleteYa true Himanshu, opposing should start at one point. Thanks for reading & commenting.
ReplyDeleteI want these VIP's travel like normal public to know the traffic problems. There are many countries ,where leaders travel in metro- trains or bicycle. In India, It is disgusting to see even opposition party leader traveling with 10 convoy of vehicles ,unmindful of hardship to general public. You flyover build between khairtabad -Secretariat Hyderabad ,actually meant for Netas and Babus. This is the mindset of our leaders&Babus.
ReplyDeleteIt all lies in mindset of politicians who confer themselves status of semi-Gods.Once elected they feel since they are lawmakers ,laws are meant for common man and not for them .
ReplyDeleteSome time back on NDTV i saw a program in which journos were stopping all government vehicles carrying RED light. In one car there was an elderly woman, when she was informed that this was gov vehicle meant only for elected member to be used for official purpose, she shot back saying that we are "RAJA not PRAJA" how can u ask us to travel in ordinary car.She was on her way to buy grocery!!!!!
Take the latest case of Pranab Mukerjee who rudely told Team Anna that Anna's Fast was not their problem. It is as good as saying that we care damn for public sentiments.
Vinod Vyas
@ Ravi: truly we shd make them to travel with common man..ppl wth power support these netas& babus.. so we r here today.
ReplyDelete@vinod: ya for politicians common man sentiments are just "damn" they shd remember praja made them raja.. without us they r just praja..

Bharathi,
ReplyDeleteI used to blog on Indian horse racing some time back but not any more.It was hugely popular blog among racing fraternity, average page hits per day were above 5000 and unique visitors{visitors who revisit within 12 hours excluded} count would be 1500.
Well i dont agree with them blocking the road with a not so popular or useful neta goes. But i agree when the chief minister or judges go. The judges have to reach the place on time since the administration of justice to hundreds are on stake. Chief minister for security purpose and other causes. But the rest local netas. I dont think so.
ReplyDeleteMade a nice read!
Sadly, power and fame drives the rules :(
ReplyDeleteWeakest LINK
@red: Thank You :) at least not to their family members & opposition leaders etc etc..
